Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dana Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by We Gon Rock. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West drops Black with a left right combo! West follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Dana Black has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
West decides to stand back up. West steps back and let's Black get back to his feet.
Black misses with a combination
and West counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Black down! West is looking to finish but Black is intelligently defending himself.
Dana Black's cut is getting worse.
Black is looking to stand up but West isn't so interested in that idea.
West wants to stand but Black is controlling his posture from full guard.
West trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
West trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
West is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
West stands and steps away. Black gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
West misses with a combination
and Black counters with a series of strikes. West will be more careful next time no doubt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by West.
Black misses with a straight right.
West throws a combination that misses
and Black counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps West thinking.

Black lands a jab-cross combination.
Dana Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West throws a right and a left that Black avoids nicely.
West swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Black counters by moving into the clinch.
West is looking to break free of the clinch but Black has double underhooks.
Black breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Black connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Black misses with a looping left.
Black thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Black wants to land a leg kick but West is out of range.
Black throws a combination that misses
and West counters with a leg kick.
West lands a left and a right that sends Black crashing to the canvas! West dives into mount looking to finish!
Jeez, Dana Black's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dana Black's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
