Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Sobral!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sydney Rain!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rain, as that shot connected.
Sobral throws a series of punches but Rain moves out of range.
Sobral throws a right hand that Rain ducks under and follows up with a left that Rain also avoids with ease.
Sobral misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rain gets a takedown into half guard.
Rain stands up out of the half guard.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Rain.
Rain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sobral is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Rain is looking to take a break and control but Sobral is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sobral, who protects the arm well.
Sobral is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rain is controlling him well.
Sobral has one of Rain's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Rain postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Rain stalling away here and it's allowed Sobral to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Rain looks gassed!

Sobral throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sobral is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rain, into his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rain preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Rain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sobral doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sobral manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rain has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sobral is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rain.
Sobral wants to control but Rain is keeping him busy.
Sobral working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sobral has an Americana. Rain didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sobral is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sobral hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
