The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamperbo tries to clinch but Wallus moves out of range.
Wallus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallus keeps the fight on the outside.
Lamperbo tries to clinch but Wallus is having none of it.
Wallus tries to land a leg kick but Lamperbo saw it coming and moves away.
Wallus thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lamperbo if he has to take too many more of those.

Lamperbo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lamperbo avoids the head kick by Wallus.
Wallus connects with a solid leg kick.
Wallus lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Lamperbo darts in and clinches Wallus up against the ropes.

It looks like Rodfe Lamperbo has been cut.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wallus, right into the meat.
A solid leg kick lands there for Wallus.
Wallus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lamperbo is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wallus throws a leg kick which misses Lamperbo's front leg but catches the back leg as Lamperbo tries to avoid it.
Wallus throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wallus lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wallus throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lamperbo's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Wallus! Lamperbo is out on his feet! Wallus rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lamperbo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lamperbo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
