PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Maniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maniac has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jack Daniels is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maniac shoots in but Daniels avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Daniels darts in and clinches Maniac up against the cage.

Daniels wants the takedown. Maniac is fighting it off but Daniels persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Maniac's guard against the cage.
Daniels throws a strike but Maniac rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Daniels has his hands on Maniac's head, controlling the position.

Maniac drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Daniels manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Maniac has Daniels in his guard.

Well Daniels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
