Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeljko Poutintsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Wallase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poutintsev comes to the cage accompanied by punainen lokakuu. Christopher Wallase is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallase is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Christopher Wallase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallase throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Poutintsev's waist but Poutintsev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallase off to one side.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Poutintsev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Poutintsev swats away the attempt to clinch by Wallase.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Wallase postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Poutintsev is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wallase, into his guard.

A close second round but Christopher Wallase will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Wallase takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Wallase changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Poutintsev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Poutintsev is trying to control Wallase's posture but Wallase avoids it.

Wallase is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Poutintsev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wallase throws an elbow but Poutintsev slips to the side and avoids it well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wallase goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Poutintsev has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wallase but great work by Poutintsev.

Wallase closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zeljko Poutintsev.
I think Poutintsev has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
