The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwreck misses with a straight left.
Carwreck tries to bum rush Cro Cop with a series of wild strikes but Cro Cop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice defenses there by Cro Cop.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cro Cop.
Carwreck throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cro Cop slips a jab from Carwreck.
Carwreck avoids the head kick by Cro Cop.
Cro Cop clinches with his opponent.
Cro Cop misses with a punch on the inside.
Cro Cop has Carwreck pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Carwreck manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cro Cop tries to land a knee to the head but Carwreck blocks with his arms.
Cro Cop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cro Cop tries to clinch up but Carwreck circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cro Cop is defended easily by Carwreck.
Shane Carwreck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Cro Cop.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carwreck drops Cro Cop with a beautiful combination! Cro Cop stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carwreck is looking for the KO!
It looks like Mirko Cro Cop has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carwreck stuffs the takedown attempt from Cro Cop. Cro Cop gets slowly back to his feet.
Carwreck connects with a nice cross there... Cro Cop is looking wobbly and Carwreck recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Cro Cop to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Carwreck jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
