The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Li throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Li tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Li somewhat.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Li.
Li shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Smith drops Li with a beautiful combination! Li stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!

Li is rocked!

It looks like Chong Li has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice body punch from Smith.
Oh Li is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Li is breathing heavily.
Smith lands a body shot.
Li seems to have got his legs back now.
Smith shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Li takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Smith sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Li bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
