Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaz perz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaz perz looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
perz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten perz somewhat.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for perz on that attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

perz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but perz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva fakes a jab and throws a low kick but perz checks it well.

perz shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wilson Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaz perz.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent perz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
perz throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if perz can do anything to dispel that myth.
