The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida Junior rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hazelette moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horrible takedown by Hazelette or perhaps it was just good defense by Almeida Junior which made him look bad.
Leando Almeida Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Almeida Junior missing with a left hand there. Hazelette was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Almeida Junior misses the shot to the body.
Hazelette closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Almeida Junior did well to prevent Hazelette getting side control.
Hazelette is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Almeida Junior is trying to get back to full guard.
Hazelette maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Almeida Junior could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hazelette has cracked it and Almeida Junior is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hazelette!
