Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lombardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombardo comes to the cage accompanied by Nas - Got Yourself A Gun. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombardo shoots for a takedown but Adamek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lombardo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adamek was covering up waiting for the punch and Lombardo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Adamek wants to sweep here but Lombardo controlling him for the moment.
Adamek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lombardo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lombardo forces his way into half guard.
Adamek is trying to stand up here but Lombardo is controlling him well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lombardo is looking to take a break and control but Adamek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lombardo is nestled in close to Adamek, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lombardo connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Adamek to escape the position.
Lombardo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lombardo throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Adamek!
