Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolls Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to system of a down - violent pornography. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Gracie throws a big shot that misses.

Silva tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracie takes a kick to the side of the head.
Gracie misses with a two punch combination.
Gracie throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Silva's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Gracie looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.

Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.

Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva works on Gracie's body with a couple of short punches.

Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Silva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gracie's head backwards.
Silva takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.

Silva drops Gracie with a nice combination! Silva dives into Gracie's guard, looking to finish!
Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace.

Rolls Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.
Gracie misses with a looping left.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Gracie throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silva has managed to clinch.
Silva is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gracie wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gracie tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?
Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silva digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs.
Gracie might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Silva cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Silva clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gracie throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Gracie takes one on the button.
Silva thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silva moves out of range as Gracie strikes.

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the cage.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gracie misses with a straight left.
Rickson Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gracie scores with a nice head shot.
Silva stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva throws a left that rocks Gracie and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Silva dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Gracie regain composure!

Silva connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gracie some visible discomfort.

Gracie is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.

Gracie is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silva lets go of the hold and Gracie can pop his arm back in it's socket.
