Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Dirst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Kuyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuyt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hearts on Fire by John Cafferty. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirst shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kuyt but Kuyt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kuyt moves out of range as Dirst strikes.
Don Dirst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuyt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kuyt! Dirst is out on his feet! Kuyt rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Dirst is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Dirst is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
