Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Renato Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Da Ruckus. Renato Gracie has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Renato Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frodo Baggins!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggins throws and low kick but Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Baggins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie cracks Baggins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Baggins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Renato Gracie has been cut.
No joy there for Baggins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gracie checks the leg kick nicely there.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Baggins is retaining full guard.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baggins sees it coming and defends easily.
Gracie stops Baggins from getting back to his feet.
Baggins makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Baggins.
Baggins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gracie wants to control but Baggins is having none of it.

Baggins throwing strikes here but Gracie is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Baggins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Baggins has escaped and now he's on top!
Baggins throws a strike but Gracie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Baggins has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Baggins.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Baggins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.

Gracie is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gracie jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gracie fails to land the takedown.

Gracie is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Gracie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice uppercut lands for Gracie. That snapped Baggins's head back.
