Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxcar Willie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Armstrong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to We Were Soldiers by Sgt. Mackenzie. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong tries to clinch but Willie moves out of range.
Armstrong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Willie is fending him off so far but Armstrong persists. Nope, Willie circles away and we're back to standing.
Willie swats away the attempt to clinch by Armstrong.
Willie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Armstrong.
Armstrong tries to clinch but Willie moves out of range.
Armstrong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Willie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Craig Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willie swats away the attempt to clinch by Armstrong.
Willie throws a body punch but Armstrong moves out of range.

Armstrong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Willie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Armstrong drops his shoulder and cracks Willie with a huge uppercut! Willie goes down! Can Armstrong finish him?
It looks like Boxcar Willie has been cut.
Armstrong looking to sit in guard and control but Willie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Armstrong wants to sweep here but Willie controlling him for the moment.
Armstrong wants to stand up but Willie is controlling him.
Willie has gone for a leg lock! Armstrong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Willie's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Armstrong is in close to Willie's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Armstrong wanted to stand there but Willie had control of the position.
Armstrong is looking to work some ground and pound but Willie has wrist control.
Armstrong throws a big right hand that misses.
Armstrong passes Willie's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Armstrong thows a huge punch but Willie dodges it nicely.
Armstrong lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Willie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Armstrong wants to stand but Willie has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Armstrong is looking to advance position but Willie won't allow it.
Armstrong is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Armstrong trying to control the position from guard on top but Willie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Willie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Armstrong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Armstrong trying to control the position from guard on top but Willie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Armstrong is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Armstrong scoring with some ground and pound.
Armstrong wants to control from the top but Willie keeps moving.
Armstrong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Armstrong with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Armstrong dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Boxcar Willie's cut.
That's time! Armstrong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Willie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Armstrong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Armstrong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Willie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Armstrong winds up and cracks Willie with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Armstrong slips a nice elbow through Willie's hands, connecting with Willie's forehead.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Armstrong is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Willie is in trouble now - Armstrong has advanced to mount!

Armstrong pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Willie is desperately trying to improve his position but Armstrong has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armstrong putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Willie is rocked!
Willie is breathing heavily.
Oooh a big shot lands for Armstrong! Willie is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
