Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yippe Mofo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yippe Mofo looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch but Mofo moves out of range.

Jones shoots in and bounces Mofo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones advances position into side control!
Jones is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mofo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Jones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mofo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Mofo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mofo.

Mofo seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mofo on the ground.
Mofo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mofo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones is pulling down on Mofo's head. It's preventing any offense from Mofo, at least for the moment.

Mofo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mofo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round but I would say that Benny Jones will probably get the nod.
