Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt.

Oliveira shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Oliveira showed some decent athleticism there.
Oliveira is keen to just control but Cunha is a slippery customer.

Oliveira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cunha doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oliveira.

Oliveira shoots in and bounces Cunha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Cunha wants to get back to his feet but Oliveira is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oliveira is looking for a kimura but Cunha is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Oliveira to get the leverage.

Cunha makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Cunha has closed the distance and engaged Oliveira in a clinch.
Cunha prevents a takedown attempt there.
Cunha wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Oliveira has him pressed against the cage.

Cunha creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Oliveira's defenses.

Cunha throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Oliveira blocks it with crossed arms.

Cunha manages to break the clinch.

Cunha is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Oliveira is controlling him well.

Cunha is not content to let Oliveira control the position.
Oliveira tries to move to mount but Cunha blocks the move with his legs.
Cunha wants to get back to his feet.

Willian Oliveira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oliveira lands with a nice combination. Cunha backs away looking to recover.
Cunha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oliveira avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Oliveira changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cunha looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
