Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mic Swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Swick.
No joy there for Swick, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Swick lands a jab to the head.
Swick looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.
Good standup being displayed there by Silva as he connects with a hook.
Swick throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.

Silva fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Swick misses with a body shot.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Swick lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silva at a distance.

Mic Swick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Silva counters with a body kick.

Silva circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Swick drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Silva follows Swick to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
