Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mibu Kyoshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Pappin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kyoshiro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You're The Best Around. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Maxwell Pappin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pappin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kyoshiro takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Maxwell Pappin has been cut.
Kyoshiro throws a leg kick which misses Pappin's front leg but catches the back leg as Pappin tries to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pappin slips under a jab.

Pappin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kyoshiro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kyoshiro wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kyoshiro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Kyoshiro cracks Pappin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kyoshiro has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pappin to stand back up!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kyoshiro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pappin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

You get the feeling that Kyoshiro really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kyoshiro, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
