Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deamon Beat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maddox comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All I do is win kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Deamon Beat has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Beat.
Beat lands a head shot.
Maddox looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Maddox leaves Beat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Maddox darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Beat wants to control but Maddox is keeping busy.
Maddox looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Beat tries to get to full guard but Maddox has control of the leg.
Maddox is thwarting Beat's attempts to control the position.

Beat has a hand on Maddox's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Maddox takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Maddox is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Beat has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Maddox throws some wild stikes that Beat manages to avoid easily.

Beat is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Maddox has control of Beat's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Beat regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Maddox swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Beat is now in Maddox's guard. A big mistake from Maddox there, giving up the dominant position!

Beat thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Maddox is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Maddox is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Beat trying to control the position from guard on top but Maddox is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Maddox is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Beat rolls with it to try and escape but Maddox cranks on the arm and Beat is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
