Aliyev has chosen Why Can't We Be Friends? as his entrance music. Petrovolinksi Kotoski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ilham Aliyev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliyev ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kotoski throws a sloppy head kick and Aliyev moves out of range easily.
Aliyev takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Aliyev misses with a wild body shot.
Aliyev wants to clinch.
Kotoski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kotoski checks the leg kick nicely there.
Aliyev looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kotoski!
Kotoski slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Aliyev is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Kotoski is trying to get back to full guard.
Kotoski is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Aliyev pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kotoski wants to get back to full guard.
Aliyev looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kotoski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kotoski tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Aliyev tries to land a body kick
and Kotoski moves into the clinch.
Aliyev prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kotoski is working for takedown but Aliyev is calmly controlling the position for now.
Aliyev has hold of one of Kotoski's legs. Kotoski is fighting the takedown attempt but Aliyev gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Aliyev advances position into side control!
Kotoski is breathing heavily.
Kotoski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kotoski is trying to get back to full guard.
Kotoski is working hard here to advance position.
Aliyev wants to take a breather but Kotoski is having none of it.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Aliyev winds up and cracks Kotoski with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kotoski is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Aliyev pulls his head out easily.
Aliyev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kotoski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kotoski throws a head kick but Aliyev moves out of range.
Kotoski throws a sloppy head kick and Aliyev moves out of range easily.
Kotoski lands a brutal head kick. Aliyev looks out on his feet and Kotoski throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
