Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Bertok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernesto Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Bertok!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bertok avoids it really well and circles away.
Hoost shoots in for a takedown but Bertok shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bertok goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Ernesto Hoost has been cut.
Hoost looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hoost tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bertok sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hoost somewhat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hoost shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bertok pinned against the cage. Bertok gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hoost could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bertok defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hoost.

Hoost shoots in looking for a takedown. Bertok tries to sprawl out of it but Hoost keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bertok manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bertok wants to stand but Hoost is controlling the position.
Bertok takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hoost drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hoost jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ernesto Hoost.
I think Bertok has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
