Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Tome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Klein throws a right hand that Tome ducks under and follows up with a left that Tome also avoids with ease.
Klein ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Tome gets the takedown into side control.
Klein stops Tome from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cody Klein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klein looks to land a combination but Tome avoids it well.
Tome shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Klein sprawls well. Klein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tome gets slowly back to his feet.

Tome feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Marc Tome showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Klein is defended easily by Tome.
Klein throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Klein moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Tome closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klein circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tome looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tome shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Klein's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Klein gets caught flat footed, as Tome shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Klein is on top in guard.
Tome looking to hit a scissor sweep but Klein is one step ahead there.
Tome controls Klein momentarily but Klein frees himself.
Klein working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tome's head.
Klein wants to control from the top but Tome keeps moving.
Klein is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Klein drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tome dives on top into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Klein is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tome is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
