The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers shoots for a takedown but Pickervance saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Powers shoots in but Pickervance avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Powers tries to clinch up.
Powers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Percival Pickervance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melanie Powers.
Powers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A jab from Pickervance finds it's way through Powers's defenses.

Pickervance lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Powers is looking to close the distance but Pickervance sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Powers crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Powers is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
