Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Manning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Modest" by Peroxwhy?gen. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Georges Silva!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manning swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva leaves Manning with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Manning shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Manning keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Manning counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Manning fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva tries for a takedown but Manning circles away easily

and Manning counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that.

Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Manning doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Manning manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manning swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Manning slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.
Manning is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Manning sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silva's guard.
Manning passes to side control.
Manning connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.

Silva is trying to get back to half guard.

Manning tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Manning has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Manning is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Silva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Manning misses with a takedown

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Manning slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manning is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Manning has managed to sneak the leg through.
Manning seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Manning pulls his head out easily.

Manning is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
Well, if Manning is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silva is fighting to break Manning's control of his arms but Manning is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Silva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Manning keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Manning wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Manning manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Manning in his guard.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Manning stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Manning!
