Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spike Spiegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cut Copy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiegel fails to land with a series of punches.
A thudding body kick lands there by Spiegel!
Spiegel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Spiegel stuffs the takedown.
Spiegel lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Copy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Spiegel takes the fight into the clinch.

Spiegel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice takedown defense from Spiegel. No joy for Copy on that attempt.
Spike Spiegel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cut Copy.
Spiegel throws a sloppy head kick and Copy moves out of range easily.
Spiegel throws a half hearted mid kick.
Spiegel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Copy.
Copy looks gassed!
Spiegel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Spiegel throws a combination. Copy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Cut Copy has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Spiegel misses with a head kick.
Copy is trying desperately to land a takedown but Spiegel is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Copy.
Spiegel bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Copy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A left and a right from Spiegel both land. Nice combination.
Spiegel lands a head kick!

That has opened up Cut Copy's cut even more.
Spiegel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Copy needs to keep his hands up - Spiegel had a free shot at his head there.
Spiegel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Spiegel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Copy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spiegel stuffs the takedown attempt from Copy. Copy gets slowly back to his feet.
Spiegel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

The cut above Cut Copy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Spiegel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Spiegel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Spiegel connects with the punch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Spiegel!
Spiegel is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Copy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Spiegel can pounce on him.
Spike Spiegel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spiegel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Copy. That did some damage!
Copy avoids the head kick by Spiegel.
Spiegel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Spiegel is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Spike Spiegel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spiegel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Copy in his tracks.

Cut Copy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Spiegel lands with a hook. Copy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Spiegel lands a nice hook to Copy's body. Copy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Spiegel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Spiegel lands a nice shot to the body.
Spiegel throws a quick inside leg kick.
Spiegel thuds his right hand into Copy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
