Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akira Kurosawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurosawa comes into the arena with War drums blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pierre's choice of entrance music: Where is My Mind. Akira Kurosawa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Saint Pierre's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre throws a right hand that Kurosawa ducks under and follows up with a left that Kurosawa also avoids with ease.
Kurosawa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pierre but Pierre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pierre misses the shot to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kurosawa.
Kurosawa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pierre.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice combination there by Pierre.
Pierre throws the left hand but Kurosawa avoids the punch easily.

Pierre misses with a few strikes there.

Kurosawa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pierre did well to prevent Kurosawa getting side control.
Pierre regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kurosawa.

Pierre wants to stand but Kurosawa is controlling the position.

Kurosawa looking to sit in guard and control but Pierre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kurosawa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kurosawa wants to sweep but no luck.

Pierre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Pierre is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kurosawa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pierre is looking to defend but Kurosawa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pierre! Kurosawa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pierre taps out and this one is all over!
