Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anderson Silvennoinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, m ajian!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvennoinen swats away the attempt to clinch by ajian.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Silvennoinen throws a sloppy head kick and ajian moves out of range easily.
ajian drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
ajian stands up.
Silvennoinen misses with a takedown
and ajian counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ajian is working for a kimura but Silvennoinen is defending it quite comfortably.
Silvennoinen tries to push off, looking to stand up, but ajian manages to move to mount!

ajian swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Silvennoinen is now in ajian's guard. A big mistake from ajian there, giving up the dominant position!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
ajian looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silvennoinen has picked ajian up and slammed him! ajian can't keep hold of the triangle and Silvennoinen manages to pass to side control!

ajian tries for a takedown but Silvennoinen circles away easily
and Silvennoinen counters with a big head kick but ajian shrugs it off.
ajian lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silvennoinen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. ajian is trying to defend but Silvennoinen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Silvennoinen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, ajian has managed to free his arm - good work.

Silvennoinen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so ajian is just riding it out for now. Silvennoinen eventually gives up the hold.

ajian drops back looking for a leg! Silvennoinen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silvennoinen manages to kick ajian off! ajian jumps back into Silvennoinen's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Silvennoinen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
ajian wants to control from the top but Silvennoinen keeps moving.
Silvennoinen looking to hit a scissor sweep but ajian is one step ahead there.
Silvennoinen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. ajian manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silvennoinen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
ajian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ajian had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silvennoinen defends it easily.
ajian is trying to control the position but Silvennoinen postures up.
Silvennoinen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silvennoinen lands a head kick. ajian smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Silvennoinen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silvennoinen.
Silvennoinen tries to pull guard but ajian won't allow it.

ajian is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silvennoinen throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to ajian's body to avoid the submission. ajian has instead reached around Silvennoinen's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! ajian arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
