Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Arias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arias has chosen Don Omar - Conteo as his entrance music. David Arias has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Arias!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Blaze holds on and takes a little breather.

and Blaze counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Arias's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arias is looking to sweep but instead, Blaze has passed into half guard.
Arias works his way to full guard. Good work.
Arias lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Blaze!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blaze is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blaze is in a horrible position here. Arias smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Blaze is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Blaze cracks Arias with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Blaze has hold of Arias's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Arias manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
