Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Pederson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales's entrance music is Gladiator Suite - Zimmer. A fine choice. Pederson has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Jeremy Pederson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Pederson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pederson looks gassed!
Gonzales attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gonzales lands a slapping body shot.
Pederson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gonzales.

Gonzales fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pederson, pushing him back against the cage.

Gonzales breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pederson blocks a head kick by Gonzales.
Gonzales closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gonzales misses with a wild combination.
Gonzales moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Gonzales both land. Nice combination.

Pederson is rocked!
Pederson tries to get into range but Gonzales steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Pederson! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gonzales scores the big KO victory!
