The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandre shoots in for a double leg but Hacker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alexandre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hacker but Hacker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hacker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Alexandre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alexandre is trapped and Hacker is scoring with shots to the head and body.

You can see the frustration on Alexandre's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Alexandre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hacker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Alexandre manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hacker's guard. Nice work there by Alexandre.
