Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Kinkeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinkeri moves out of range of the strikes.
Makunouchi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kinkeri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makunouchi moves away.

Kinkeri thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Makunouchi if he has to take too many more of those.
Makunouchi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kinkeri. Kinkeri obviously looking to wear him down.
Makunouchi checks the leg kick.
Kinkeri doesn't manage to clinch there - Makunouchi circles away.
Makunouchi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A decent looking cross lands there for Makunouchi.
Kinkeri feints and then cracks Makunouchi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Makunouchi down.
Makunouchi misses with an uppercut. Kinkeri saw that one coming.
Kinkeri fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Makunouchi checks it well.
A low kick from Makunouchi is predictable there
and Kinkeri counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slow jab from Makunouchi misses its intended target.
Kinkeri feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Makunouchi's calf.

Kinkeri has taken the fight to the clinch.
Makunouchi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kinkeri is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Kinkeri lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Makunouchi looks gassed!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kinkeri.
Kinkeri tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Makunouchi avoids it.

Makunouchi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kinkeri connects with the punch.
Makunouchi moves out of range of the body kick.
Kinkeri thuds his shin into the meat of Makunouchi's side.

Kinkeri closes the distance and pushes Makunouchi back into the cage.
Kinkeri misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Makunouchi.

Makunouchi is still on wobbly legs! Can Kinkeri finish him?

Kinkeri has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Makunouchi - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Kinkeri, and another! Makunouchi is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
