The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista throws a series of punches but Haskins moves out of range.
Batista misses with a double jab.
Haskins fails with a takedown attempt.
Batista throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Batista throws a combination. Haskins tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Batista throws a nice looking combination but Haskins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Haskins needs to keep his hands up - Batista had a free shot at his head there.

Batista clinches up with Haskins and pushes him back against the cage.
Haskins has Batista pressed against the cage, preventing Batista from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Batista tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Haskins goes for a takedown attempt but Batista pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Batista connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Dave Batista has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Todd Haskins.
Batista fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Batista moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Haskins has a takedown stuffed.
Batista fails with an attempt to clinch.
Batista doesn't manage to clinch there - Haskins circles away.
Haskins circles away from the clinch attempt.

Haskins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Haskins showed some decent athleticism there.

Haskins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Batista is just riding it out for now. Haskins eventually gives up the hold.

Batista tries to kick Haskins off but Haskins keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Haskins uses his free foot to push down on Batista's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Batista.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Haskins swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
