Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Early Cuyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and l l (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). l l is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Early Cuyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, l l!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuyler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

l shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
l must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cuyler controls l momentarily but l frees himself.

Cuyler controls l momentarily but l frees himself.
Cuyler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
l lands a couple of decent looking shots.
l content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

l really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cuyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

l should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

l changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cuyler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
l works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

l is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cuyler's half guard.
l takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. l connects with a nice short shot to Cuyler's temple.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

l squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if l can do anything to dispel that myth.

l's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
l tries to buck Cuyler off but Cuyler takes his back!

l l showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Cuyler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cuyler lands in his opponent's guard.

l connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cuyler some visible discomfort.

Cuyler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but l wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to l l.
Well l has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
