Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninho De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Dent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ninho De Souza!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dent ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dent fails with the takedown.
De Souza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Souza lands with a nice body punch.

De Souza scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dent pushes De Souza off looking to stand but De Souza dives back in and keeps control.
De Souza throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
De Souza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
De Souza moves into full mount! Dent won't be happy about that!
Dent blocking the ground and pound.
Dent on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dent tries to get out of the position.
De Souza trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Dent's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

De Souza goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dent is on top in guard.
De Souza has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

De Souza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dent is aware though and is defending well.
Dent has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dent slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dent lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Dent looking to sit in guard and control but De Souza gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
De Souza content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
De Souza passes Dent's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
De Souza wants to free his trapped foot but Dent is holding on for dear life with his legs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ninho De Souza dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

De Souza scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
De Souza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Souza shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dent counters with a takedown into side control.
Dent trying to control the action but De Souza is working from the bottom.
Dent working away.
De Souza tries to bench press Dent off him but Dent keeps the position.
Dent tries to score with some ground and pound. De Souza controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

De Souza manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Dent is sneakily working for an arm triangle but De Souza sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like Dent is going to stand back up.
De Souza is pressing down on Dent's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
De Souza manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
De Souza throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

De Souza is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dent has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dent is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
De Souza lands a nice shot to the head.
Dent is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
BOOM! De Souza connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ninho De Souza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

De Souza lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

De Souza feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dent sprawling to the canvas! Dent rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can De Souza finish him?!

Dent is rocked!
De Souza connects with a nice cross there... Dent is looking wobbly and De Souza recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Dent to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - De Souza jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
