The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo wants to clinch up but Sai Yuk keeps it at a distance.

Bo closes the distance and clinches.
Sai Yuk misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sai Yuk avoids a wild elbow strike from Bo.
Bo misses with an elbow strike.
Sai Yuk can't find room to land a body shot as Bo controls the action.
Sai Yuk tries to throw a body punch but Bo avoids it by throwing Sai Yuk back against the cage.
Sai Yuk misses with a punch to the body.
Sai Yuk misses with some punches.
Bo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bo blocks an uppercut.
Sai Yuk struggles to land a body shot inside as Bo controls his hands.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sai Yuk.
Bo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sai Yuk tries to work over Bo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sai Yuk takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Fong Sai Yuk has been cut.
Bo lands with a left to the head.

Bo is pressed up against the ropes. Sai Yuk has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bo down to the mat. Bo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sai Yuk clinches but Bo breaks the clinch
and Bo counters with a flying knee. Nice.

and Sai Yuk counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sai Yuk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Bo is looking to stand up but Sai Yuk isn't so interested in that idea.

It looks like Ai Bo has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sai Yuk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sai Yuk distracts Bo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Ai Bo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Sai Yuk lands a couple of elbows.

Jeez, Ai Bo's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ai Bo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
