Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Shadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Vasiliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasiliev has chosen Hate me now as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadows throws a shot to the body.
Vasiliev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shadows.
Shadows lands the left hand.
Vasiliev takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Shadows swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shadows throws a shot from downtown. Vasiliev moves away and avoids it.

Shadows throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vasiliev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vasiliev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shadows gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Vasiliev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shadows has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shadows and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
