Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felix Escobar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Escobar.
Slice misses with an uppercut.

Nice combo by Escobar! Oh, that's hurt him - Slice falls to the canvas and Escobar follows him into side control.

It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice is not content to let Escobar control the position.
Slice wants to get back to his feet.
Escobar fails to land a wild elbow strike.
You can see the frustration on Slice's face as Escobar controls the position.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but Escobar drags him back down.

Escobar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Escobar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Escobar swings around for an armbar but Slice sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Escobar's guard.
Slice is looking to stand up but Escobar won't let him.

Escobar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slice wants to stand and escape but instead Escobar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Slice is looking to stand up but Escobar isn't so interested in that idea.
Escobar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slice swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice is breathing heavily.
Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Escobar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Escobar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Escobar wants to pass the guard but Slice is defending well.

Slice tries to kick Escobar off but Escobar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slice makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Escobar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slice pinned against the cage. Slice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Escobar.
Escobar slips a jab from Slice.
Escobar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Escobar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slice circles away quickly and effectively.
Escobar will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Escobar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slice throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slice throws a right hand that Escobar ducks under and follows up with a left that Escobar also avoids with ease.
Escobar's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Escobar duly obliges.

Kimbo Slice's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Escobar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slice sprawls well. Slice wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Escobar gets slowly back to his feet.
Escobar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Escobar blocks a jab.
Escobar ducks under a wild hook from Slice.
Slice misses with a straight right.
Slice pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A big left from Slice misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Escobar stalks Slice and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Slice's face. Slice staggers backwards, shaken.
Slice takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Danga de danga de dang - Escobar scores with a four punch combination!

Jeez, Kimbo Slice's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Slice takes one on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Escobar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Escobar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Slice throws a combination that misses
and Escobar counters with a stiff right hand.
Slice lands an overhand right.

It looks like Felix Escobar has been cut.
Escobar misses with a two punch combination.
Escobar stalks Slice and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Slice's face. Slice staggers backwards, shaken.
Slice lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Slice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Escobar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Escobar throws a low kick but it's checked well by Slice.
Escobar slips a jab from Slice.
Slice is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Slice keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Slice lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
