The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jonilenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slakov as he avoids it easily.

Slakov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Slakov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

jonilenko slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Slakov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed jonilenko's guard.

jonilenko has his foot on Slakov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slakov works his way back into a safe position though.
