Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Drake Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes into the arena with This is Why I'm Hot blaring out of the sound system. Sanchez has chosen "Stand your ground" by Acarine as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sanchez lands in his opponent's guard.
Sanchez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hughes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanchez has managed to get both his arms back between Hughes's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sanchez drops back looking for a leg! Hughes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hughes manages to kick Sanchez off! Sanchez jumps back into Hughes's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well Sanchez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
