Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Lecic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Miller is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marko Lecic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Miller!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lecic shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lecic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lecic is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lecic tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range.

Lecic shoots in but Miller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Miller swats away the attempt to clinch by Lecic.
Miller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lecic digs a right hand into Miller's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Miller's gas tank.

Lecic wants the takedown. Miller is fighting it off but Lecic persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Miller's guard against the cage.

Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lecic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Lecic's legs - danger averted.
