Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Shlomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shlomi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For whom the bell tolls. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlomi lands a big head kick that sends Williams tumbling to the mat! Shlomi takes a step backwards and waves Williams back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Carl Williams has been cut.
Shlomi stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shlomi was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams.
Williams throws a body punch but Shlomi moves out of range.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Shlomi.
Shlomi swinging wilding here.
Shlomi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shlomi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Shlomi rushes Williams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Shlomi to work.
Shlomi tries a knee to the head but Williams blocks it.
Shlomi looking to throw knees to the head but Williams is blocking nicely.
Shlomi tries to land knees in the clinch but Williams avoids the damage to the body.
Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Williams misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Good exchange - Shlomi coming out on top.
Vince Shlomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shlomi is looking to clinch.

Shlomi is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Shlomi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Williams throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shlomi counters with a good low kick that Williams was not able to check.
Williams steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shlomi. That one must have hurt.
Williams looks gassed!
Shlomi lands a head shot.
Williams is rocked!
Vince Shlomi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick by Shlomi - that's a beauty! Williams is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Shlomi can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vince Shlomi!
