The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandito throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Malone on the side of the head.
It looks like Moses Malone has been cut.
The fighters circling - Bandito throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No joy there for Bandito, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Malone dodges the punch combination from Bandito.
Malone moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Malone misses with a head kick.
Bandito cracks Malone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bandito wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Malone is looking to slow Bandito down with leg kicks.
Malone tries to clinch but Bandito moves out of range.
A punch combination from Malone misses.
Bandito cracks Malone with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Malone looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bandito finish him?

Moses Malone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malone looks gassed!
Bandito drops Malone with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Malone! Bandito dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
