The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov tries to clinch up but Lebowski circles away and keeps his distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Petrov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lebowski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lebowski wants to get back to full guard.
Lebowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Petrov is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petrov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lebowski kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Petrov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Petrov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lebowski could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Petrov has cracked it and Lebowski is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Petrov!
