The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows The Jungle Boy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Davis wants to get back to his feet but The Jungle Boy passes into half guard.
Davis is trying to control but can't.
The Jungle Boy misses with a head shot. Davis uses the momentum to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Jungle Boy is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The Jungle Boy drops back looking for a leg! Davis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Davis manages to kick The Jungle Boy off! The Jungle Boy jumps back into Davis's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The Jungle Boy shoots for a takedown but Davis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Davis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and The Jungle Boy dives into side control.
Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Jungle Boy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The Jungle Boy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Davis did well to prevent The Jungle Boy getting side control.

You get the feeling that Davis really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Davis is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. The Jungle Boy locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Davis is forced to tap!
