The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Penn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Penn closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Pablo gets a takedown into half guard.

Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pablo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pablo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Penn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Penn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Penn!

That was a close round but I would say that Juan Pablo will probably get the nod.

Pablo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Penn's waist but Penn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pablo off to one side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Penn lands a really nice looking cross but Pablo seems unphased.

Penn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pablo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Pablo will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Penn works over Pablo's head and body with a nice combination.

Pablo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Pablo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
