Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Mozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Biggum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Mozzi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggum misses with a hook. Mozzi ducked under it nicely.

Biggum shoots in but Mozzi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

It looks like Tyrone Biggum has been cut.
Biggum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mozzi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Biggum manages to avoid it.
Biggum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mozzi tries to clinch but Biggum is having none of it.

Mozzi rushes Biggum and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mozzi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Biggum is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mozzi to the mat. Mozzi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Biggum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mozzi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Biggum throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Mozzi's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mozzi duly obliges.
Biggum tries to move into range but Mozzi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Biggum decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mozzi's guard.

Mozzi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Biggum throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mozzi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mozzi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Biggum!

Biggum tries to lock up and control but Mozzi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mozzi throws a series of punches but Biggum avoids them all with ease.

Biggum closes the distance and clinches up with Mozzi, looking for a takedown. Biggum pushes Mozzi against the cage but Mozzi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Biggum has an Americana. Mozzi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Biggum is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Biggum hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
