The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Escuadero.
Escuadero defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gale.
Escuadero dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Escuadero misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Escuadero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gale as he jumps to the side.
Chris Gale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Escuadero.

Gale wants to stand and escape but Escuadero is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
