The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pulitz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Santos lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Santos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Santos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Santos throws a leg kick but Pulitz sees it coming and moves out of range.

Santos misses with a straight left.
Pulitz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Santos attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pulitz looks to land a combination but Santos avoids it well.
Santos lands a jab-cross combination.
Pulitz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Santos throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pulitz throws a hook to the side of Santos's head but Santos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pulitz keeps the fight on the outside.
Pulitz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Santos gets the takedown into side control.

Santos misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Santos trying to control but Pulitz is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Santos landing strikes from the mount.
Santos scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pulitz?
Santos trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pulitz is looking to improve his position but Santos isn't that keen on the idea.
Pulitz tries to buck Santos off but he can't manage it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Santos is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pulitz is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pulitz flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Santos anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pulitz and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Santos slips an arm under Pulitz chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Santos has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Santos is squeezing on Pulitz like an anaconda would it's prey. Pulitz fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
