Dukes comes to the cage accompanied by Everything in its right place. Pete Gonzalez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dukes throws a right and a left that Gonzalez avoids nicely.
Gonzalez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dukes swivels and escapes.
Gonzalez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dukes tries to avoid it but Gonzalez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dukes to the ground. Dukes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Frank Dukes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dukes looks to land a combination but Gonzalez avoids it well.
Dukes tries to work over Gonzalez's front leg with a kick but Gonzalez checks it.
Dukes wants to land a leg kick but Gonzalez is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dukes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gonzalez shoots for a double leg takedown but Dukes sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzalez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Frank Dukes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pete Gonzalez.
Dukes throws a series of punches but Gonzalez moves out of range.

Gonzalez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dukes sprawls well initially but Gonzalez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dukes is trying to stand up here but Gonzalez is controlling him well.
Dukes trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Gonzalez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

It looks like Frank Dukes has been cut.
Gonzalez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dukes defending well though.
Gonzalez uses his free foot to push down on Dukes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dukes.
Gonzalez throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Jeez, Frank Dukes's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
