The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson lands a jab to Gro's midsection.
Fredriksson lands with a hook. Gro tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Wain Gro has been cut.
Odin Fredriksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gro tries to close the distance and clinch but Fredriksson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gro takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fredriksson dives in and grabs Gro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gro pushes down on Fredriksson's head and hops out.
Gro is looking to clinch but Fredriksson is avoiding it.
Fredriksson throws a hook but Gro blocks it.
Gro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fredriksson finds it's way round the side to connect with Gro's head.

Gro pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Fredriksson tries to circle away but Gro has him pinned against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Gro.
Fredriksson tries to pull guard but Gro holds him up against the cage and eventually Fredriksson drops back down to his feet.
Gro lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Gro crunches a lovely knee into Fredriksson's ribcage.

It looks like Odin Fredriksson has been cut.
Fredriksson is trying to break free.
Gro is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fredriksson is defending well for now.

Gro pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Wain Gro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fredriksson stalks Gro and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gro's face. Gro staggers backwards, shaken.
Gro looks gassed!

Fredriksson tests Gro's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That has opened up Wain Gro's cut even more.
Fredriksson keeps the fight on the outside.
Fredriksson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Gro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fredriksson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fredriksson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fredriksson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A left lands for Fredriksson.
Fredriksson punishes Gro's body with a nice straight punch.
Fredriksson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gro's hands.

The cut above Wain Gro's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fredriksson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
